Done talking about the general stuff on my work there.. I shall write a little bit on the other side of work.
First week of intern is full of curiousity.
They were asking me mostly on my background.
Where I'm from. How I got to know about Syntronic. Why did I choose Syntronic. Is intern my last sem Do I have to go back to uni to continue on my studies after intern and so on..
First day itself I've been told by Jenny thay my department always have lunch together.
Indeed, on the first day I was asked to go have lunch together. I was worried that I would have to have lunch alone.. ><
There were quite a few embarassing incidents because I still did not recognize people from my department yet. But.. I shall leave that aside. xP
On every Friday, the company will have tea break where it is sponsored by the company itself.
That first week on my intern, we had some snacks from The Chicken Rice Shop.
It was a new thing to me since I never really had the chance to have the snacks there..
But to my collegues, they're expecting something new. haha..
The choices of food is limited there..
I actually got to experience grabbing the tea break for the office last Friday since the tradition is that the newbie will go with a senior to buy tea break.
So I went with a senior from the embedded team, Jonathan to buy tea break.
He is really nice to talk with. and I would say that he's a level more sarcastic than I am. xP
//when will I ever reach his level! ):
So while waiting for the shop to prepare for the food we ordered, we had a nice chat.
Being in my department, where everyone is really quiet doing their work, getting the chance to talk is really good to release some of the work pressure.
The mood eventually gets lighter. ^^
