It wasn't a tough decision to made. Well, I have made my decision anyway. It's the guilt that is making me not at ease.
I have lost that opportunity to give a heads up to them. I could not turn back time. It's too late right now to mention anything.
Let's pretend nothing ever happen and see what would happen when the time hits.
Ahh... Sorry...

Ok, today I didn't post a potato. I'll post my selfie instead. Why? Because I CAN. pfft.
My fringe is getting longer and I have to clip it up with a bobby pin.

Is it good to learn mixed of programming language?
Some are telling me,
"It's good! You extend your knowledge to more languages", but you know.. there's a phrase "Jack of all trades master of none" .
I do actually wanted to know more languages. In fact I've been telling myself that it is good to learn more languages. Conversational language that is. I always have interest in learning languages. Anyone wanna bring me along for language classes? I don't want to go alone. :( ... But let me know if I could afford it or not first. I don't mind if you want to sponsor me to go together!
I don't know. Some are telling me that I should focus on just a few. So that I could master it better.
Does the same actually applies to programming languages as well? Compare conversational language and programming language that is.
Learning a variety of conversational language bonds people together. Lets one understand another better without the language barrier. So if it does apply to programing language, what am I bonding to? The IDE?
I guess there's no harm in getting to know more programming languages, right? I might only know basic of some, but at least I've know what are they, how they are written, what they can do perhaps in some circumstances. It'll be quicker for me to catch up then instead of start the knowledge from scratch when I need to apply them. It'll look good on my resume too. =D Just saying.

"Why not start with Chinese? Learn how to write and read Chinese first."
*Looks at you with squinty eyes like as if it's not already squinty enough*

Motorcyclist attitude in Malaysia
I've seen good ones and I've seen bad ones. People likes to hear good news first right? (I'll just assume so. No questions asked!). Here's something good about them.
Motorcyclists are helpful. I've seen plenty of cases where they stopped by to help those who are involved in severe road accidents. They either help the victims or help to flag other vehicles to take caution. It's because of their small vehicle, they don't actually block the road much - minus those busy body onlookers.. They only make the traffic congestion worse.
Some are real nice. They help strangers for things like changing the tire or even guiding a broken down motor to the nearest workshop. Hmm.. Maybe a drawing could explains how it helps with the broken down motor...
Hmm... maybe not. I'm bad at drawing. Ignore the drawing if you can't understand. But basically that's what I meant. Motorcyclist A with broken down motorcycle leans his/her leg onto motorcycle B's pedal so that the wheels for motorcycle A could roll and move hence towards the workshop.
I'd probably left some of the good ones, you let me know. So I can add them to the good list. Instead of being skeptical and thinks that they're just mean.
Here's the bad attitudes that I encounter and I'm pretty much irked by these.
1. NO SENSE OF URGENCY!
Motorist who thinks they're driving a car on the car lane and they're SLOW. They rides right at the center of the car lane makes it difficult for bigger vehicles behind them to overtake. It's get even more annoying when they're doing that at the fast lane. They somehow don't know that you're right behind them and took their own sweet time. *insert fake smiles here*
2. CAN'T WAIT FOR TRAFFIC.
Everyone is stuck in jam. Everyone has somewhere to rush to at the peak hours. Motorcyclist are fine because they're so small that they could slip in between cars that are stuck hence, just keep moving. But they think the lane in between cars are theirs. That cars cannot pass that "lane" they use. They'll either honk or flash light at the incoming car. Worse, they'll not stop, but try to evade that car regardless of which direction they use which could possibly ends up in some kind of accident. I don't know. Here's the another drawing for your imagination of what I meant by "their lane".
3. OVERTAKE..WHATEVER
This is worse of all. Either the car is on stationery or moving, these motorcyclist would just overtake from right to left lane just like that. Or from left to right. Whichever. They don't care if you're moving fast or not. They'll just assume they can make it.
I'll stop drawing. Drawing maybe isn't my thing.
4. MOTOR PARKED AT PARKING MEANT FOR CARS
Enough said. It's annoying. Some parked in between the bays between cars. While some, really assume that they're car, parked smack in the center of the bay. I've heard that motorcycle that parked at car bays will not get ticket while the other way round it will. Is that for real?
I feel so devastated with my drawing I shall not complain anymore.
My whole point is. We're all road users. I understand that there are no sufficient motorcyclist lane. That line in between two lanes on road isn't meant for motorcyclist aren't they? We all gotta take some safety precaution and be considerate to other road users too.

This is bad..
Reading back my old posts while I update the labels, I suddenly feel like playing Maple Story again!
Oh no.. This is bad. Makes me wanna download and play them again.
Remember the good old school days when I was so addicted to Maple Story that I spend cash on my character. Running back n forth to 7-11 to buy MolPoints.
Then to buy the character hair with my luck of getting afro style with randomization.
Then finally gave up and paid extra for nicer hair.
Ahh,... Those days..
Also those FB games that I've long ditched.
I feel like playing them again.

Mint + hunger = bad decision.
I know I'm gonna have this problem.
I was too hungry to think straight.
Stomach was playing drums... I look around my office desk... all I see that is edible is.. The mentos mint I have.
Knowing the fact that I'll get stomach discomfort from that... Yet.. I placed one mint into my mouth.
And there it happens.
Not sure if it was because of the mint or the sugar thought. I think it's the combination of both. Oh well, my mouth is happy and at least my stomach has stopped playing drums. Need to teach it some lesson for making noise when mommy is doesn't give an effort to look for food yet. :)

words and everlasting words
Words, words, words,
I notice my blog has been more of words than pictures. It feels so boring. Where have all my interest in making colourful blog and full with images gone?
I need to be more hardworking for that. Maybe I should randomly post a selfie of me? HAHAHA
I'm so shy~ xP
Ok, here's a potato.

Looking back again
Aites, since I have time in my hand now, I've decided that I'll label my old blog posts!
Looking back, I've actually changed quite a bit!
First off, I just want to express how lucky I am to know these bunch of friends from UNITEN!
They've taught me to express myself better! To mix around with people. I learned mandarin because of them. HAHA. Some flashbacks just happened when I update the posts.
Remember the time where my picanto battery died? I was truly glad that the guys borrowed the jump start cable and came into the girl's hostel to help me jump start the car.
Remember the crazy night where we experience the "self-done" hair curl in the hostel, my dear housemate? :D
Remember the trip we went to Langkawi? Though it might not be a pleasant memory, but it still remains in my heart as one of the trips we went to as a big group!
Remember when we trick ah boy to Melaka A' Famosa?
Remember the random food hunt we have, skandel?
Good ol' times. I wished I could do that again. I'm not that old am I? Why do I feel like I've been missing out a lot? T_T
Have I ever mentioned that I've broken up with Danny? If not, this post will remention his name after so long. Well, Danny... How I've thought he's the one, but eventually we broke up. I've shed tears, felt miserable and moved on. - I wouldn't remove the blog posts. It's part of my journey in life. Though I've remove mostly in my Facebook. Don't judge me! It's different! Haha..
In the end, I'm glad Jonathan came into my life :)
I was so much happier than before. I feel so comfortable with Jon.
I've actually always imagined that I will have an English speaking bf. I actually hope to converse in English with my ex when he mentioned that he needs to improve his English, he declined my offer eventually.
Regardless, I found you, Jon! ♥
Hope we'll stay together forever. I love you. ^^

Grow moss, grow mushroom, grow fungus.
Grow everything but not my progress. pfft.
After I was done with the last project, I was assigned to a new one. "Wow, sounds awesome. I'm assigned to a new project so quickly!", I think.
You'd probably figured what I was doing for the past week judging from the frequency I update my blog and this current post's title. Yes, growing moss. Not literally, though I probably have the time to grow. That's not my interest anyway.
Project hasn't officially started yet. The three of us were assigned to preliminary studies. That means to research. Which means slack? In my own dictionary. Well, blame it on me, we were given some category to do the studies. It's just that I don't know how to continue since most of the points are already given like a mandate to use that.
Randomly, I'm glad to have my blog. If not I'll be insane having all these inner thoughts. I'm also glad to have my earphone with me. Otherwise I'll be dead bored with this quiet office surrounding.

Persevere !
Astro.
I'm not the kind of trouble maker and are usually quite patient as a customer. If I have issue with your product and filed a report, as long as you give me the commitment and prompt update, I'm totally fine with it. I wouldn't go all over to scold or nags at people.
I'd like to give people space and time and I believe everyone just working to make a living. I am not working in a customer front line and I'd like to believe too that every company have its policies and procedure.
Being said that way, I also trust that it is only fair to the customer if they are kept updated with the latest follow-up. Which very seldom company does so. I'm much disappointed in such a service. Sometimes, the customers themselves have to keep follow-up and chase the agent for that matter. What an irony!
I don't know how it was done in other countries but most of my encounters in Malaysia are educating me that these agents sometimes will block your call or pretend to not read your email.
If I were to continue discussing how unreliable our customer service here, I wouldn't be able to get into my point.
Here's some background.
I've installed Astro IPTV back in July 2014 after my house renovation. So as the appointment date, came 2 person from Maxis co-Astro installer, and 2 person from TM to install the fiber optic. So we let them do whatever they're good at, trusting that they'll do a good job. After they left, we then realize that the TM who install the fiber optic has damaged my newly installed down light's rim!
Here's some photo...
See the white paint at the wire? It was purposely painted over so that we, the customer, will not notice it if we didn't really realize what happened. How smart!
When we realized what happened, we lodged a report over to Astro. Which is difficult too because the hotline doesn't have such an extension to "customer service". All they have is the options to language selection, installation query, technical query, and some purchase i suppose.. but nothing regarding customer service. I guess they're too detailed on the options part to directly connect to individual department.
I have no other choice but to call into any department to speak to the operator, and hopefully he/she will transfer me to the customer service department. I'm really sorry if you're the operator that got my complained thought this issue wasn't really your fault. It's just not your day, friend.
Anyway, I was directed to send the image over via email to Astro customer care. Which I did. The next two working days, I got phone call from Astro, that they will send people over to my place that weekend for investigation. Which they did, with misunderstood of time. I was told that they will arrive at 12:30 but they ended up arriving at 2:30 and told that the agreed time was 2:30pm. Two person came and thought it was a installation problem. When my dad told them it's not and showed them the damage, they did nothing but just taking photos of the damage and promised that they will escalate the report to the management.
Not sure if they did or not, After two weekends of no reply, I made another call and appointment with Astro again to follow up. This time, I am very certain that the agreed time is 10:30am. That weekend we waited. and waited.. and waited. Almost 1:30am I called back to the center. Furious, I asked what happened.
"In our report, it was updated that customer agreed to postpone the time to 2:30pm" .. WTF. I did not. I couldn't get the name of the person who updates the remark. All they have is the department which updates it. In fact, it was so difficult to get through that number that they used to call me! It was just a land number but no one picks up every time I call. So I asked the operator to put a remark that I DID NOT CHANGE THE TIME. That's the end of it.
I hear no news from them, I waited till 2:30pm, no one came. I called up the installer guy, because he is the only contact person I have. I asked for the TM installer's number, who installed my fiber optic. He said he used to delete all the numbers of contractors once the work is complete. Fine. So I asked him how he would deal with this issue and he asked me to send him the pictures of the damage for him to show to his manager.
That's was it. No more updates ever since. Waited, waited, and waited. It's already 2015 now. pfft.
ASTRO.Such a reputable company would ignore its customer.
If any of you would want to install this Astro IPTV, be sure that you CHECK their work. Thoroughly. This kind of service sucks.
Sometimes my movie has some interruption due to network. Although it is much better compared to the satellite dish. You be the judge.

Looking forward..
Finally after a year plus (officially was 8 months) in the project, my contract has ended.
I was left with a defect and the handover task to finish when I began my work again in this new year.
I was actually going to leave the bug there because I figured it would take longer time to fix. Since I was waiting for the other side developer to contact me for the handover, I tried it. A little bit hack here and there... oh ya, before that, I gotta give credit, THANK YOU IE, for making my life difficult. Why? Let me give you some background of my hatred.
1. It always cache for no reason.
2. I have little problem with firefox's version update than IE. Whenever IE have an update, it gave me headache. IE8 has so little compatibility for the world nowadays. Thank God that client actually agree to deal with minimum of IE10. Otherwise, many requirement will have roadblock due to the incompatibility.
3. IE definitely has something against CSS. Properties with value "initial" to be specific.
4. IE < 11 developer tools sucks! It was much better after updated to IE11.
5. IE is more strict on security reason that makes developer's life difficult.
I'll leave it like that as of now. It wouldn't be fair to IE if I start complaining about the different way it interprets the data.
Truly it has taught me to always check for cache in IE if suspect that the code change should work. Clear cache to be exact.
Back to what I was saying, yes, hack here and there, I have fixed it!
I actually thought the handover going to be a trivial task. I was glad that the developer actually understands the code and only asks for clarifications because he wasn't sure of the library I used.
So I was ready to go home last night after closing the chapter but my manager stopped and reminded me to send an email to the client as a notification. I guess he was right. So I stayed back a little later. It was just a simple short email but it took me like forever to construct the email. Eventually my manager and my colleague who asked me to CC him in the email has left and I'm still at my place constructing the email. That's just a little FYI of the reason why I'm all smiles when I get the client's reply.
I'm so delighted! Best part is, it's CC to my manager as well! ^^
I can't hold back my smiles. That wasn't the first happy email I receive from the client about my work. It really does gives me motivation to continue what I am doing! Thanks! I really appreciate it.

Joanne, thank you very much for the work.
Your passion and commitment in your work culture have driven the project to another great level.
I admired some of your skills in UI design, communication and technically literated at this young age.
Please continue to cultivate at what you love at and I look forward to working with you again very soon*.

*I'm already working on a big plan behind
I'm so delighted! Best part is, it's CC to my manager as well! ^^
I can't hold back my smiles. That wasn't the first happy email I receive from the client about my work. It really does gives me motivation to continue what I am doing! Thanks! I really appreciate it.

Little bit about me. :)
I didn't realize that I do have comments on some of my blog entry until I read back my old posts. Some was from my uni friends and some were anonymous.
It wasn't many and it wasn't on every post, but it was fun to read and THANKS to you guys, I am motivated to write more (I'll try, even though I don't know how many readers I might have).
My blog is probably boring and I am the kind of person who don't think that my life is interesting to share. It's not like I attends event much or am an event planner. I'm more on the introvert kind (that's what I told myself even though I was told that I'm not.) I don't like to hang around in the crowd and when I'm with a big group, I tend to be the observer or listener. I like to have my own space. A space where only belongs to myself or people who are close to me, so I don't share much about it on public.
Being a human, I like to share my ranting to the world or show off what's great or that has happened in my life."Complain! Complain! Complain!"
Reading back my posts when I was back in uni life, it really was more colourful. No, I don't actually meant that the blogposts are full with colourful fonts although it was.
What I actually meant is that I have more posts during then than now. Have I gotten older? I guess what happened was that back in uni days, my only entertainment was attached to my laptop. For example games, movies, tv series, chat, social life, bla bla bla. I face the laptop almost everyday. Now I don't - probably everyday during work but not when I am back home. I'm a couch potato when I get home. I hardly blog anymore from my laptop. Excuses. You can still do it with smartphone nowadays. Shush!! My dad told me that you need the phone battery when you're in emergency! - He always complaints that we always play the games in our mobile phone that drains the battery and that we're unreachable when we're needed. Well, from time to time I do get on blog with my smartphone and I actually finds it more convenient to blog from there because the pictures are mostly captured from my phone anyway. Now I even thinks that switching on my laptop is a hassle. (OMGOSH! What has gotten wrong with me!)
There are interesting events that happened in the past years that I was so lazy to get it blogged. Like the Krabi trip I went to? It was actually the first oversea trip I went with friends! Not like I wasn't invited to any trips with friends, it just that the timing and budget was not right so I'll have to decline that good invitations. I'll try to make it up to them in 2015. *insert money flying icon here* Christmas dinner that we had at Prime at Le Meridien and New Year's eve dinner too. Those were good memories we made from year to year.
This year, I hope to spend New Year's eve with my family. I hope I can keep that promise. I want to do countdown with my family again like how it was when we're young. Even if it's just me and dad this time around probably. Maybe a small party just the two of us. Father daughter bonding session again. Open up a bottle of wine and viola~ do the countdown. Oh my. 2015 just started and I'm thinking of 2016's new year's eve. So demotivating. Or motivating to wait till the end of the year again?
Alright, I'll stop for now. I should get back to work. WOOHOO!! Another hour to go! and it's raining. Pfft.

Shouldn't trust you!
WASTED MY WHOLE 4 HOURS!
I know I shouldn't trust you. LIES!
You told me you were ready, but you aren't.
In fact, I've reminded myself again and again since it doesn't work that way.
I've even put a self note somewhere that you wouldn't be the way I want you to!
But I don't know what has gone into me today.
I trusted you.
I even doubted myself.
I've tried again and again thinking that it is my fault.
That I was wrong somewhere along the line.
Now that I know...
It's you!
you..
I shall beware of you...

you mean $(document).ready(function(){});
randomly craving for fries.

Back to work
Hi 2015,
You seems to arrive rather fast end leaving fast too.
------------------ ends 2015 welcome ------------------
It's already 2015 now and I'm back to work after a good 9days of work hiatus including the xmas and new year's holiday.
Not that I'm not looking forward to work, but I'm dreading. It's FRIDAY. I welcome Monday blues, because that's the norm, but why a Friday blues for me? *cries* There's meeting today too and apparently, it's only 3 of us to attend.
On the bright side, the roads are very less jam today! Office are colder, because there's less people. Was it that long that I'm on leave? A colleague came over and asked if I still remember my pc username and password. Which, I shall confess, I FORGOT IT - initially. I had to make a few trials and glad that it went through.
"Where did you go over the holiday?" No where. Sigh.
I did mentioned that I wanted to do some unpacking since my house renovation is done... But... The temptation of the couch is too darn high. I sat there being couch potato, watching TVB dramas, catching up Return of Superman on youtube.
On the good note (though it can also be done even if I didn't take any leaves), I did went out! Went out for dinner with Jon's friends for Christmas dinner and New Year's eve dinner! Both were AWESOME! Thanks to the bosses who planned it. ^^" Photos? I'm too lazy to upload. It's in my friend's fb anyway.
Pretty much that's it? OH! AND PLAYED WITH BABY NATALIA! My cute little round niece. She was back since Christmas and left on that weekend. So I had good time playing with her. :D Scaring her. OHOHOHO.
Some good time spent with my dearie, which makes me miss him even more! T_T I'm such a love sucker. Ahh.. alright. Stop with the mushiness. :D
Anyway,
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015 ! *insert fireworks here*
