++___CHOCOLATE ♥: June 2012

Wow.. just watched the news..
Taxis get voucher of 500bucks to replace all 4tyres? Seriously.. where did all that money come from?
Almost 5000 taxi drivers came up to grab that vouchers. How much is that?
It's insane I would say. 200 bucks book vouchers for students, yes.. I could understand. It's for education purpose.
Then 100bucks to all schooling students, 500 bucks to all whose household income below 3.5k
Then.. all those who can afford is taxed. wtf.
Mind my language. Perhaps I don't understand what they're trying to pursue by giving out FREE money.
Why not just reduce the tax? everyone would be happier instead of just that few clusters of people who can fit into that category.
IF the money is coming out of HIS OWN pocket, I wouldnt mind. BUT I doubt about the source of income this time.
Heck.
Even if you say we should be fair n share our wealth n such because we belong to ONE, then why is this feeling of unsatisfaction of a part of the other clusters?
It's not easy to realize that vision if its gonna continue being like this.

Just my thoughts.

I thought this year's birthday would be just like every other years..
But it was so unexpected that I was having such a great time!

Let me just recap some of it.

Event 1:

Had shabu-shabu dinner at Kuchai Lama with family on Sunday, a day before my birthday..
It feels so nice to have such a different dinner after sometime ..
AND IT'S STEAMBOAT STYLE!!
I miss that so much while I was in US!!..

Event 2:
So, Monday was my birthday, officially turned 21 on that day..
AND!! Officially started my first day of work (first job) in Syntronic Malaysia where I worked as intern previously.

I was actually kinda shocked to find out how some of them know it was my birthday.
Then I remembered my Skype has my birthday on it, and perhaps Skype auto sent the notification to them ._. .. that was kinda awkward. Anyway, since it was Monday, we had our team meeting. The team wished me Happy Birthday which was kinda surprising.. and I appreciate it (= It was such a nice feeling to see them again, of course, this time, I'm no longer an intern, that means.. time to get serious! T___T"

Back to work and I got back the same project, and this time, many updates added and I have a lot to follow up.. but let's not get too details into it.
Then I got the Skype wishes, the morning wishes at the pantry.. I remember them (=
But there's still one mystery that got me curious though.. the Skype wish that Joanne got it during the meeting..
Anyway, that night I went out with colleague, and we had Korean cuisine!
I WAS DELIGHTED! ^^" (I was craving for Korean food back in US) ..
DAMN! That made me miss Korean BBQ right now!!
Nevertheless, my birthday wasn't spend alone like how I expected.
THANKS for making it happen! ^^

Event 3:
I joined my colleagues for drinking session at nearby restaurant, S'mores. Another first time!
First time officially drinking alcohol xP
I'm finally legal! I had Long Island.. if I didn't remember it wrongly..
It was okay.. I got a bit tipsy I think .. after finishing almost 3/4 of the drink.
But eventually got better after sitting awhile..

Event 4:

Went Sunway to meet up with friends! I really missed them sooo much!!
Initial plan was to watch movie and to have dinner after that..
So I went and met up with Ah Boy, then Chua came along with Mai (right, so call coincidentally saw each other)
We watched Madagascar 3 where we met Bryant and Meigie at the entrance of the cinema..
I still couldn't get my fact straight.. did they buy together as in.. Boy bought together with Bryant and Meigie.. or was it not planned at all?
Because, coincidentally our seats are 8,9,12,13 .. and the both of them are 10,11 .. just right in the middle..
Well, Idk.. I found it interesting. :P
AND THEY WON SPIDER MAN TICKET BY SPINNING THE RIBENA WHEEL (during the promotion) !! damn lucky!

Nevertheless, the movie has a bit too much impossible scene.. not really to my liking.
Then after movie, Boy say wan go look for camera, so he asked me to go with him.
Somehow, I felt weird that Chua and Mai disappeared all of a sudden.. didn't inform us where they were going.. @@" But I couldn't get to care much.. Boy was bringing me away to look for camera shop.
Eventually we went a few shops and he called Mai.. she said she was going to meet Johnson.. that's what Boy told me.
After a while, I got curious and I said I wanted to look for Mai and Chua.. and before that, Bryant and MeiGie said they wanted to go look for something.. and went away.. @@"
Then while deciding to look for Mai, I called Johnson. His background was kinda noisy.. and he tried to cut the line by saying he has entered the car and is on his way to Sunway when he was in JayaOne and will reach in 30 minutes.. WHICH was impossible..
That kinda got me figured out that something wrong was going on.
I asked Boy what had they planned.. cause I got so curious.. HAHA!

Then Boy called Bryant where they say they are in FullHouse buying things..
and when we went in, there all of them were seated! Johnson, Mai, Chua, Bryant, Meigie.. LOL.
Then after everyone settled down and ordered, I was given the cupcakes .. ^^"

I don't fancy cupcakes at all.. But yeah.. that was kinda unexpected .

So I made a wish out of the candle that Boy requested from FullHouse staff, and blew them off.

And, there was a huge IKEA recycle bag on the counter where Johnson claimed that that was my birthday present. It was hard to believe at first.. but I went and took it from the counter.
Inside, there was a box with their pics in Phuket and my picture from last year's birthday.
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!
There were candies, shawl, a bag of mysterious gift, and PORORO!!!!

OMG YOU GUYS!! THANK YOU! And out of it, I appreciate the hard work that you guys had put through.. It was really obvious that planning and making all of these is not easy.
The heart that was put into it .. I really do appreciate it. and I especially like the card you all wrote.
THANK YOU!!!!

Event 5:

Met up with Xiaoli, Yin, QuanYi after so long !!
We went to KLCC and had lunch as planned, at Umai-Ya.
I was so excited to meet them up.. and all dai gor lui dy.. look so pretty and different!!

There was so much to catch up on which we did while I was driving all of us to KLCC and during lunch..
And there, Yin made us watch random videos which got me having the song playing randomly at random times in my head now... pudding.. =.="

and I thought of Badger mushroom whenever I see mushroom.
DAMN YOU!!! hahaa..
mushroom is my favourite and that song is playing whenever I see it!

Then we walked all the way to Pavilion from the air-coned bridge from KLCC.. where it was suppose to take 20 minutes walk, but we took 5minutes instead because qyi and I was competing against each other by walking fast. LOL!
And soon halfway walking there, we noticed Yin and Xiaoli was actually taking video of us from the back!
RAWRR!! .__.

Then we shop around to look for Qyi's dream watch... and eventually went to TGI.
ordered, and waited for our food to arrive..

There was one waitress that we really not satisfied with.. She was showing faces when we request for things.

Nevertheless, as reluctant as qyi and I to go TGIF because of the birthday celebration way they have there, we eventually get it when a bunch of staff approaches our table with our melted brownies(because we actually asked them to serve last but they serve first and we asked them to take it back).. and asked the both of us to stand up. and we stood up.
They made us to speeches, and they sang birhtday song to us.
And said some things.. and wished us happy birthday..
AND .. there's one thing that really surprises me..
When they asked for our age, Qyi told them to guess..
AND ONE of the staff actually guessed our age right on the first try! and none of us told them our age at all!! how amazing. .. hmm.. yeah.. that could be your bf, qyi, like what one of the staff said :P

It wasn't as bad as my other friend got from her birthday, but it was a nice experience. Then since we were not satisfied with the melted brownies, we asked for a change! TADAAA!!

Then we went back to KLCC, bought something salty because we had too much sugar, then I send them back to their respective home~ (:
