just another random thought

Staring at the woods as we leave the National Park.. I wonder how my life would b if Im living in the woods.

Hunt by the day, live for the day, no worries of tomorrow.

Living with the nature isnt such a bad thing. City life is full of temptations that spoiled the human nation, while country life has simple mind and might be conservative, but they're simple.

City people are full with obsessions, being materialistic, worries and competitions here and there. It's nice to be able to stay away from all of these. I would only need to care about living the day, and careless about how tomorrow may be.

Well, that way my motto "live to eat" could be realized?

It has been awhile since I blasted my song loud through my earphone. Perhaps you guys would have know what it means when I blast my song loud.

Throughout the long journey, looking at the vineyards the view. its so empty. feels empty.

The sky seems to know how I feel. It was cloudy all day long.

Definitely dont feel good.

Long day

A long road from LA to San Francisco..

2Hours drive to Solvang where we had lunch, another 2hrs to Hearst Castle for sight seeing, 2more hours after that to dinner place, probably another hour or so to our hotel. idk, cz im drafting this while the bus is moving. (bad idea. i feel sick now)

ok, a little bit here and there about my trip.

Went to Las Vegas, hot and dry air. NO LIKEY. and darn, underage still. pfft. wasted the chance. definitely look like vegas. cz there's casino EVERYWHERE. Went to the west side Grand Canyon. Hot. Sunny. Bad idea.

but view was magnificent.

And now at Los Angeles, California.

Went Universal Studio and Hollywood. So many stars at the walk of fame and the hand and foot print.

Then the next day we went for cruise at San Diego. Bad idea for.wearing tshirt and shorts thinking that it would be hot or will be playing a loy of games cz our following schedule is to SeaWorld at San Diego.

Much to my disappointment, there wasnt much ride. and most of it was performance and show. and the freaking weather was cooolllllddd and windy with only 15°C. Was trying to bear with the cold wind from 9am till 9pm. of course, with 3 or 4 hours indoor during travelling time.

And today, like I've mentioned, to San Francisco. I've checked the weather forecast and he temperature is 10°C in the morning, 16°C noon, 10°C at night. And I thought we're approaching summer here! trolling weather. ><

If i know I would have brought thicker jacket. ><

10more mins to dinner place. byebye~

Loonngg day at airport.

Woke up early at 5am today prepare myself as we will go on separate ways with the tour group.. We have to have our breakfast first, and then get on the bus at 7am. The tour will continue to Boston as we will be leaving to Buffalo airport.

But first, we get to follow the morning tour to Niagara Falls again despite we went there last evening and catched a glimpse of the night view before we went back to our hotel. It was magnificent and we even get to go on the cruise tour last evening .. and the morning view was awesome as we get to see rainbow formed at the fall~

Then the tour bus dropped us at Buffalo airport as we will depart from the airport to transit at Newark airport,NY to our final destination at Las Vegas.

Reached Buffalo airport at 9am waited till 12pm to check in as our flight is at 3.52pm..had our brunch and finally departed.

The aircraft was quite smal and noisy as we were seated near the wing but we do get some nap.

Finally, we reached Newark at 5:30pm. Supposingly we were to left at 8:20pm so we had our dinner at 6:30pm.. waited for our flight after dinner just to know that the flight is delayed to 10:49pm.

Most of the passengers were angry and complained. I heard one of them, his phone conversation. not my fault. He's talking too loud. I heard lots of curses..They said it's due to bad weather. It's bad since we got our plan planned when we were waiting at Buffalo airport. We planned our night walk around the City that Never Sleep because we were expected to reach at 11:30pm.

I was even told to get enough sleep i the airplane to have enough energy for the night activity. But now, since it's delayed and the aircraft is stil in Chicago, waiting for permission to fly. So we actually dont know the actual time to get to fly. And what even more sucks, the airport at Newark does not have free wifi. pfft.

Dreadful day.

and I even fell sick on this day. pfft.

Hello again!

Writing a quick update from US~ xD

Tbh, Im still not accustom to the culture here. Say, service line, as in restaurants, housekeeping, transportation, they all expect for tips... EVERYTIME. n they have different expectation. For example, taxi, roughly $5 more.. hotel housekeeping, 1bed $1, 2beds, $2. ><

Tips itself is already killing me softly here..

Park and visiting places for tourists attraction not cheap too.. ><

say, Museums, $25 per pax, cruises or ferry, $30+..

Food, needless to say.. same price as Msia, but in USD. RM8.99 there is USD$8.99 here. *gasp*

Anyway, where have I been to lately that kept me MIA from my blog for so long?  I've been to Florida, Disneyworld

and Universal studio

there at Orlando. Then head over to NYC! this NYC is following tour though. They brought us to Museum, Cruise

around Staue of Liberty,

Empire State Building

thats the view of New York from the top view of Empire State Building , Metropolitan Museum, Madame Tussaud wax museum in NYC ^^

quite fun I would say, despite the admission fee is killing the small currency of Msia that I came from..We stayed in NYC for two days. Oh ya! the first night, we went on our self tour to the night life of NYC, we went to watch The Vocapeople! damn hillarious and and SUPPERRR AWESOME! im a fan of Scratcher now. xP Ten after the broadway show, we went over to Times Square! Took some pic and back to hotel.

And as for today, we went all the way to Washington where we saw the White House, cant go any nearer though, and they say if the president is in, we cant even enter the place where we took pic today! Then we went on cruise, visited National Air and Space Museum, sat on a cruise to see yatches, boat around national museum

then went to see the monument of Abraham Lincoln. ^^ Passing by the memorial park..

Then we head over for dinner and check in to our hotel!

All in all, it was fun, more to come.. cant wait for Niagara Falls!

Day 2: Getting to know you

Right, lemme jusr continue briefly on day 2..

after the restles night, insomnia and all, I finally woke up at 8am.

Prepared, and left the inn at 9+

and we went to Castle Museum, where I find the historical artifact.. well, doesnt look much like a real artifact anyway. but it was kinda interesting.

Then we went over to the nearby Art Museum. It'dms free entrance on friday. so yeap. enter free!.

Nothing much to see though.

It was to abstract for my progtamming mind. but its kinda interesting that they used chicken bones and computer cables and even wires to do art. Then we went for short shopping at nearby outlet.

Then Danny went for his meeting at his college.

When he came back, we went over to Midland Mall.. nothing much to see there, we had our late lunch there.

Food wise, not bad. but things are always sweet..>< I cant get used to it.

Perhaps bcause I dont really fancy sweet stuff much.

Then there was International Family Gathering at Danny's college, Northwood University, where all the family members of the International students will gather and.. have light refreshment.

Tbh, I cabt really mix with the crowd.

I was quiet as usual in big crowd.

I hope I dont embarrassed him..><

Then all of us settle down at seats provided and students were called up to stage to talk about their thoughts and experience and plans after studying,during,and before coming to the college.

Interesting to know ^^

Then we had a small gathering among the Malaysian students for dinner where we were joined by their 2 American friends. We went for Chinese food.

They're really friendly ^^

Went back to our inn and we're so dead tired.

Greetings from Midland, Michigan..

It's 5.59am local time right now and nope, i dont actually have to wake up now.. In fact, I'm suppose to wake at 8am.

Tossed and turned and I cant sleep back again..

Probably i've already have enough sleep.. or probably Im still not used to here.. Randomly, day temperature is about 20°C and night is 6°C..

The tip of my nose is cold right now..

Anyway, the plan for today is museum visitting here in Saginaw and short shopping around here before Danny's graduation ceremony tomorrow.Then we'll be heading San Francisco on the same day~^^
