outing with mom & dad

Usually it's difficult to get dad to go out shopping
or just to bring us around anywhere..
dad would usually prefer to sit at home, watching tv..
spending time during the weekends at home.

Suddenly, I was bored, and mom wanted to go for shopping,
and we planned to go KLCC,
so I casually invited dad to come along with us..
so that I don't have to be the driver :D

perhaps dad was bored..
after a long 2 weeks at home..
he took a long leave from work!

As we reached KLCC, mom went to her favourite spot, Isetan~
and as for me & dad, we're just hanging around..
woo.. KLCC is filled with Christmas decorations ♥
and it's PURPLE! ♥♥

then mom & dad went to get some drink at Juice Works
while I went Chameleon to look for earrings :D

they had a promotion that day.. something bout peach. @@
anw, mom got free gingerbreadman cookie.
It's so cute :D
I was reluctant to eat it..

anyhow, I started eating his hands off.. RAWR!!
then mom took the other.. and dad took the leg :D

and after i took the other leg & body..
sorry gingy.. ><" but you're still smiling! :D and tadaa... gone.. there goes gingy.. we'll skip 25th :D it's Christmas! ^^ in short, I went out with Danny & his parents~

and on 26th Dec,
went with mom & dad & Andrew to watch Gulliver's Travels
at Wangsa Walk..
since mom & dad has not been to cinema for like.. more than 10 yrs..
I thought it's a good chance to bring them out!
for a movie that they at least familiar with..
and the actor that my mom likes.

and indeed, they enjoyed the movie.
I was so delighted!~

hi again!

It's been awhile since I last posted my entry with pictures, right?

so here it goes.. let's start with Techflow Christmas production: Bonded.

First and foremost,
I would like to apologise to my team leader, shuba
for my absent during you guys were conducting the decoration thingy ><" I'm really really sorry.. I keep having other appointment n classes n labs.. that I really could not skip! nevertheless, the decoration was amazing!!
although the process was a little here there and everywhere..
but the final ones are really awesome!

and I really couldn't catch the performance much..
I was in and out of the hall T_T"
but nevertheless, I heard it was fantastic..
and I saw them during their rehearsal too!
it was great! ^^

that night, after everyone got back,
the teams stayed behind and clean up the things.

to think that we took months to finish all the deco stuff,
and it took just less than 1 day for it to actually function.
and it took less than 4 hours for us to clean them all up.
I guess the preparation process really mean a lot! :D

we finished them around 2 am.. T_T

wondering..

It's the end of the year..
shouldn't I be a little bit relaxed?



but yet,

every single day is packed with activities..
Monday - after class, distributing flyers, design advert, design poster.
Tues - after class, flyers again.
Wed - Cruisers!
thurs - cruisers again! :D
friday - and hopefully, nothing is in schedule.

another looonggg day..

after sleeping at 2.30am this morning,
I woke up at 7.30, prepare myself,
and on my way, I sent danny to lrt for his work.
and reaching uni at 9.30, just in time to eat the mihun dad bought for me.

my booth duty for today is 10.30am,
so at least I got to rest a while after my breakfast..
after the booth duty, I went for my class,
my very first class with Pn. Zailani as my OOP lecturer.
and she was recapping what had been taught by Mr. Azlan.
I was "fishing" all the while when she was lecturing,
and I sat the most front row!
I feel bad for doing so.. but I can't help it!
I was so dead tired.

Then having a gap of 1 hour after OOP,
I went stay around at Career booth and help my friends to sign up.

and with that remaining 30mins,
I went to paste the poster all around UNITEN bus stops.

came back, straight away go for my AI class *that reminds me.. I got quiz tmr*
after that class, I went lunch with kaizen, tony, alvin n chua..
back to COIT, and it's time for another class again..

after class, it's meeting for Monthly Gathering: Dec. Ed

Woke up this morning and to my surprise,
my parents din wake me up to breakfast with them!
so i got to sleep longer~ ^^

Anyway, as for my brunch, I went with my future dai sou & bro .. haha..
being the lampu kalimatang once in a while seems fun.
after having our brunch,
we went to optical shop..

mice wanted to make a new glasses,
while I wanted to change my glass frame.
sadly, the salesperson said it would be difficult for me to change just the frame alone.
because if I were to do so, they have to cut the lens to make it fit the frame I chose.
So it would be difficult.

In the end, after 1hour sitting there, him explaining bout the glasses,
me choosing the type of glasses I would like to buy,
and him persuading us to buy the expensive ones,
we decided to consider further before we make purchases.

I have my eye on clip on half frame glasses..
and this time, it's gray~ ^^

The last time i bought this half frame spectacles, I was wearing brown tshirt.
this time I'm wearing gray..
perhaps I should visit the shop again when I'm wearing blue.. or yellow.
then will I choose blue / yellow frame? @@"

Later that evening, mice, andrew, eric, eza and I went to SWIMMING!! :D
oh whee!! it was so fun!
this time I've progressed quite fast.
I'm able to swim! and by swimming, i mean i did move! ^^
and also, occasionally, I can breathe while I swim! hahhahaha
that was a good progress ~

Speaking of "witch", are they real?

Anyhow, they never fail to give me the eerie feeling during my childhood when I thought about them.

Perhaps it was because of the story books I read during then..
for instance "Hanzel and Gretel".

I've always imagine witches with such old and ugly look with warts on their chin and crooked nose, with gray-messy-long hair and pointy hat and they have cackling laugh! .__."

"oh Hanzel & Gretel!! ruuunnnnn!!"

They always portray a bad character who can put curses and spells and for some cases, they even eat children! *oh well, I was naive*

Since I've grown up, I began to know about witches and the myth about them.. but, nevertheless, they still appear as a monster in the game I play! MapleStory!

"they're just everywhere!"

I cannot avoid facing with them since I need something from them to complete my quests. T__T"
Knowing that they could fly freely without following the path provided,
and my level is LOW, they just scare the hell outta me.
I just couldn't attack them without getting targeted easily.
sigh..

But how much do we know about them? Maybe pretty witches aren't that bad? haha..

Exhausted again...

Just got back n bathed after doing the decoration work at library..

Hair is still wet.. and I'm gonna spam my blog now.

So here's what's occupying me now:

-tmr gna go for class, with that 1 hr 30 mins gap,
im gna go finish up my decoration task, then go for industrial training talk..
huhus.. seriously.. im so nervous for internship! ><" why? i wonder.. maybe because i don't have the confidence in my course =.=" and perhaps i suck at interviews. -over the weekend, im gna finish up the remaining designing stuff for career unit, study for AI quiz(Tues), do the presentation for Software Quality(Wed), Assignment for Database..(Tues)

Then gonna start spamming yahoo group regarding the promotion..
i hope i can do this asap tho..
it's kinda late to wait week after week..
and gonna start on promotion for the career talks!

A LOOOOOOOOOOONG day.

Woke up at about 9.30am today
because I had actually promised Suba
to help out decoration team at library 11 am today.

At about 10.30am, I received a message from Val,
telling me to send her emails to update her about Marketing Strategies.
I'm lucky that I had prepared them earlier..
just that.. I didn't realise how short my time was till my first promotion actually gonna start!
Which is TOMORROW!
There's where the panic starts.

I have not printed the flyers yet.
Nor do I have printed posters yet.
Banners still got some correction (That reminds me that I have to go edit the bunting later)
Tuesday class is from 12-6 direct,
and that means I have less than an hour to settle everything.

At 11, after eating 5 pieces of McVities biscuit + 1 cup of Milo,
I went to library to first get the hardcopy of flyers printed.
then rushed to Admin to look for Ms. V,
hoping that she's there so that I could get the forms signed,
but unfortunately, she isn't there T__T"
Knowing that it's about 12, I went to class at COIT.

All of a sudden while waiting for lecturer to arrive,
I felt the sudden stress and disappointment in myself.
Everything was so last minute and at that very moment I just wished I could turn back time.
I know that's just a phrase everyone use when they feel regret of something.
I regretted that I did not rush my work.
I took it too lightly. And I've been greedy in taking too many responsibilities.
I just break down suddenly. =.="

During the first 30 minutes of the class I could hardly concentrate at all.
The thoughts just overwhelmed me and blocking every word my lecturer said.
Then I decided to just hope for miracle and see if I have any gap later to try my luck at admin again.
And my concentration to lectures had gotten better.

During database class,
I was feeling superb hungry, my stomach was growling too..
It was sorta loud. ><" i wonder if Chua could hear it.. since he was sitting next to me. LOL! or maybe he was just pretending that he did not hear anything :D Luckily class ended half an hour earlier that I'm able to rush to admin
to try my luck to get it sign by Ms. V once again.
and YES! ms.V was there!
I manage to get the form signed.

and I was so happy that Ms. V liked the promotion plan.

it feels like the stress was lighter.. and the sky had became brighter although it was drizzling.

Then I rushed to ITMS to get the posters printed.
and I actually felt happy that I could get them pasted already!

Just when I was so happy.. I forgot that I had to take them stamped =.="

But it was already 4pm when I got them ready from ITMS.
So I rushed back to COIT n posters will have to wait till tomorrow to get them stamped.
AI class ended earlier too, and I went to help out at library for the xmas deco.

It all ended at about 8pm, and finally I get to go back to hostel and bath.
and then FINALLY go out for dinner!
and FINALLY, we went to mamak again! :D wheeeeee!~~ ♥
and we ordered the infamous Nasi Goreng Kambing! *the price had increased though*
and somehow, the Teh Tarik kurang manis that night.. taste so... nice!

ahhh~ when we were about to finish our food,
we saw Shu hui, Zhi Lun, Naveen, Jan & Ah Ker came to the same mamak shop~ :D
well, housemates indeed, we have telepathy! AHAHA!

my mood had certainly got better compared to this morning.
and I'm feeling good now.
and it's time for bed! :D

CareerTeam building

okay, as promised, I'm gonna update my blog regarding the Career Team Building!
where I had LOADS of fun!

The previous Career Unit Team Building was organized by our very own committee,
this time around, it's organized by Capt. Ariva!
something new, and adventurous.

This time too, it really really feels like we're staying in a camp!
the previous ones was like team building in luxury.
with nice hotel rooms, swimming pool, nice view, nice hall, etc.

So our venue was at Agrotek Garden Resort, Hulu Langat.
My first impression was.
WOW! RESORT!! :D


but as I reached there..
There's poor network coverage,
Hardly any coverage for Maxis, Celcom, but DiGi is better.
the whole place was hilly, with loads of ants,

there's no air conditioner, but it's ok.. it was superb cold at night anyway.

Our hall was at the top of the hill.
and we had to walk back n forth from dining area to our hall!

so that's basically the place where we could get better coverage.
I'm not saying full bar. just 2 to 4 bars maximum out of 5.

After a short ice breaking session with Capt. Ariva,
we went for lunch

then we checked in to our respective rooms
which is quite small n narrow..

one toilet,
one small fluorescent lamp, and one spinning fan

and the activities began!

I must say, the whole 4 activities, including the water ones..
I truly enjoyed them! :D
Ever since I've graduated from Secondary school, I've never really played such games anymore!
It's fun to feel like I've back to school age once a while :D

Then after dinner, it's back to talks by Capt..
I've enjoyed most of his talks with the activities! :D
he's hilarious! his experience, his exaggerating gestures, his speech.. all was so fun ^^

The next day was another short hours with Capt. and his activities.
then photo session, and we're off to lunch.
after lunch, we gathered back at hall for a short CV review by Ms. V
and brainstorm session.
then we went for change and jungle tracking with obstacles thingy.. began!

I had fun with all the obstacles :D
it feels like i'm in PJKN camp again!

after all that obstacles, we ended up playing in the river :D
then dinner time!
after dinner was supposed to have a brainstorm session and presentation.
but due to Badminton.. Lin Dan vs. Lee Chong Wei, the session was canceled. HAHA.

The next day, we're getting lazier.
since breakfast is at 7.30 - 8.30, we went at 8 instead! :D
but I still woke up at 6.30 to bath and to pack my stuff.
Gosh.. the water was so COLD!
i regretted for not practicing my bathing-with-cold-water endurance at Murni. LOL

at 8am, after breakfast, we went for brainstorm session & presentation session
then we check out!
and we eventually went back at around 2pm.
reached uni at about 2.40pm ^^


It was superbly tiring,
I had bruisers and scratches and cuts here and there.
Due to my clumsiness and overdoing it.
(the crawls under the net and in the pipe full with sand)

BUT I HAD FUN!
I could do it again!
but not in this short future :P

ughh..

It has been raining a lot lately.
And it's raining now too!!

and .. sad news. my house electricity tripped.
peh.
i'm running on Maxis broadband now.
and my MF just wont let me download! why?!!
it was ok when i use house line.
guess MF hates Maxis ^^

was doing the fliers halfway and I got demotivated thanks to the power supply failure.
it's not that I did not try to turn it back on.
I've tried.. it works. and then it's down again.
and again. and again.
so I gave up instead . ^^
I could use this as my laziness excuse. ♥

ahh~~ it's time like this that my food craving haunt me again :D

SWEET DREAM INDEED!

i was so reluctant to get up this morning!

even though i was enduring my pee. LOL
i still don't wanna wake up!

why?!


I AM HAVING SWEET DREAM!
am dreaming of JYJ!
sweet eh?


In that dream, i was one of the crew for JYJ! lol.
so you can imagine how close i get to be with them.
hahahaha..

the scene was like at murni apartment,
then at random hotel, where the whole crew stay.
then random pasar malam? @@

weird dream indeed..
but what can i say..
it's just a dream! HAHA


still hoping that the dream would come true tho.

Sg. Petani & Langkawi~

I had my things packed back home after my data struct paper,
and i was back at UNITEN on 29th October.
so my room in Murni was definitely empty..
so yeah.. i slept with no blanket that night on 29th..

So .. after our final examination ends on 29th October,
we went on our Langkawi trip on the 30th!
the journey began at 7am from UNITEN
and it was raining that morning.. ㅠ

I've joined Bryant's car on the trip to Kedah

we stop by at Sg.Buloh R n R for light breakfast

Had our breakfast at Kaya Kopitiam

After the breakfast, we continue with our journey to Penang..
it was Ipoh at first.. but we changed lastly. @@

Passed by Ipoh..

Then we met up Ang, Johnson, Joe and Chua at the R n R nearby..

and we even saw the white Proton Saga next to us having the same kuma-kuma tissue box~

The whole journey to Penang was cloudy.. @@
Then we stop by at Penang for lunch.
I could say... that's the first time I've been to Penang .. not at the island.
we had chicken rice and assam fish there.
It was kinda tasty.. instead of the normal chicken soup,
we got assam soup! LOL.

and of course.. i din finish the soup.. spicy ><" Auto-City! :D

Just pass through though .. ><"

The road there were really crowded.. many cars..Many many cars!!

Then we started our journey to Sg. Petani, Kedah after the lunch..

The weather was quite gloomy.. cloudy, strong wind, and it rained ㅠ
Nevertheless, we've reached Sg. Petani safely although it was still raining..
checked in at Swiss Inn hotel

while waiting for Bryant, we saw TURKEYS!! :D

i never knew they were that huge. LOLin the hotel..

and was so glad that we finally can land on the bed after the long journey!

Then after a moment we went out to nearby Tesco since we have nothing to do in the hotel anyway.

then we went to Just K for Karaoke. LOL.

That night, we met with Joline's boyfriend and sister, Steven and Huey Jia
(idk how to spell ur sis's name, Joline. ><") first time meeting them.. i was a bit shy. but they were friendly and nice! ^^
we had tien ji porridge~ it was spicy but awesome! :D
thanks for introducing us this place ^^
After the dinner, we went station 1 cafe where we played Jengga and cards :D
just to hang around before we go back to our hotel and call it a night.

The next day,
after our breakfast,

at the chinese restaurant nearby. :D

we went to the jetty to go to langkawi!! :D

Then we were finally in the ferry! :D

later that evening, we went out to the beach..
although it was still raining.. ><" we tried on Banana Boat! :D
it was so fun! my first time riding on banana boat.
the first fall was bad for me..
cz i don't know the technique and i don't know how to swim -.-"
and it was funny too.. after knowing how i actually reacted. LOL!
the second fall was better.. we know when it will fall :D
then we hang around in the sea for a moment, chatting.. laughing... advertising.
LOL!

then we went up to take a bath.. and off to dinner at the restaurant nearby! ~ ^^ Ordering..

The Bill

After dinner we went to duty free shop for window shopping.
I went look items in my things-to-buy list.

The item there were really cheaper than the market price.
LOL!
if only i had more money.
im sure i would have spend more. ><" Then we went mamak for supper! :D then round around the area for a moment, then we bought burger!
and had a nice chat back at the hotel

I can only see Chua's head! ><" spooky..

and call it a night... a rainy night ㅠ
it was raining whole day.

The next day, we decided on going for our own island hopping..
cz it is still raining..since the day before!
we can't go for the tour ㅠ
anyhow, we make own.. by car! :D

After the long hours of own island hopping,
we went for another window shopping at underwaterworld :D
then we went back to hotel

The few of us, Joline, Kaizen, Chua, and I stayed back at the beach
while the rest went for banana boat ride!~
Later that night, before we went out for our dinner,
we saw a bird nearby the stairway.

We put him at the pathway, gave it some food and drink,
then we went for our dinner.


after dinner, we went to buy our things.
the chocolate, liqour, souvenirs, etc. :D
and burgers..
we went back to hotel.

the bird was still there!
we brought it back to our room.
giving it warmth and more food..
played with it..

Later that night,
we played heart attack till late 2am++!
haha.. we had fun hitting each other, then waiting for revenge. XD
then we call it a night.

The next morning,
the weather was better!
it wasn't raining at all.
so we went to the jetty and took a few picture
before we went on our separate ways to the airport and ferry.

The rest of us went check in and i was glad that there were no flight delay! :D

Then we met with 2 taiwanese girls on the way to bus..
they offered us ticket with a price of RM7 each.

Pua and I took it. and we have our ride back to KL Sentral :D

i'm glad to be back at KL..

nevertheless, it was a good vacation at Langkawi.
although it rained for the 2 days we were there..><"
