Internship: Day 1

It was the very first day as an intern.. also the first day of me working.
Well, I never really had the chance to work before ><"

So first day report to the company was kinda awkward. LOL.

Nevertheless, I was lucky to actually met one of the staff at the elevator
thus I don't have to wait outside of the office door because I don't have a staff pass..

So I went in the office and was told to wait there since the manager wasn't around yet.
Waited for almost 10 minutes and was told to wait in the meeting room.
yet, another 30 minutes gone by waiting like that.

Well, the first day of my internship was really .. nothing much besides waiting.
Then the IT Security staff came along setting up the laptop and such for the briefing.

Ms. Jenny from HR then came in and passed me the forms to be filled..
she said she thought that someone had already passed me the forms that's why she left me in the waiting room, thinking that I could use that time to fill in the form.
But actually, no one does until she came. LOL.

So eventually I filled up the form she gave me and had briefing on HR department
then IT Security department briefing about the Do's and Don'ts in the office.
It's pretty much what I've learned from ethics and Data security things.
So I was able to understand the terms he mentioned. .__."

Funny thing is he even asked me whether I know what's a shredder was. RAWR!

Then I was shown to my seating place and started adding the staffs ID to my skype.
They said that was how they communicate in the office.

Adding halfway and my department manager bring me for the project briefing.
Telling me which project that they were working on and which will I be  following.
Both project has its pros and cons..
And I knew that both project outcome could taught me a lot of new experiences!
I was overwhelmed to actually manage to involved in a project. (:

Right after the briefing, it was 12 noon already. LUNCH TIME!
I joined the team for lunch..
It seems that they often go lunch together.. together with the manager too...
The food at the nearby food court was tasteless. and expensive ><"

Back from lunch at 1pm, and I went for meeting at 2pm.. joining them for  the project meeting
The meeting lasts for 3 hours. 
Shocking. That was the first time I was in a meeting for that long.

Even longer than the meeting held by Johnson during CLICQ.

At 5pm, it was our department meeting.. it was about the updates of the team members project  and introduction.
Meeting lasts about 40 minutes and Mr. Par brought me for tour around the office

I was introduced to the departments managers 

and finally, when the tour is done, it's already 6pm..
TIME TO GET OFF FROM WORK~

Pretty much nothing on first day.
But I was glad to join this company! (:

I hope I'll be able to enjoy my intern and learn lots of things!

Oh ya!! the teammates was friendly and kind too! ^^"
